We firmly believe that a confident, dynamic and innovative law firm does not cherish and conceal documents or know-how that were once created and used for a successful transaction closing, or as the resolution of a legal problem. The essence of creativity is that those who have it use it as a natural response to ever new problems. As there are no two identical legal problems, there are no two identical solutions and it is always the combination and firm wide accumulation of explicit and tacit knowledge that makes a law firm innovative and therefore valuable to clients.

Az Oppenheim ügyvédje, dr. Fejes Gábor a Szegedi Tudományegyetemen tartott előadása a versenyjogi jogsértésekből eredő igényérvényesítések lehetőségeit mutatja be.

The newsletter highlights two major topics: (i) the introduction of the Europe-wide new institution of rewarding individuals with a fee for reporting cartels and (ii) a recent decision of the Hungarian Supreme Court confirming that client-attorney communi- cation enjoys client-attorney privilege even prior to the start of a cartel pro- cedure, therefore such communication cannot be used by the Hungarian Com- petition Authority as evidence in a competition procedure.
